Our impact

The core business of T3SC is to act as a support organisation for voluntary, community and faith groups in Tameside. T3SC’s mission is to build a strong, clear and independent voice for the voluntary, community and faith sector in Tameside. This is embodied in our mission statement ‘Making a difference to Tameside’s communities’. T3SC works in a number of different areas, including supporting voluntary, community and faith groups with running their groups and applying for funding and giving Tameside's communities a voice through the networks, amongst other things.

Quality Award
|
In 2008, T3SC achieved the NAVCA Quality Award, which demonstrates the quality of the delivery of infrastructure services to local voluntary and community groups. Read more about the quality award here. |

In 2009, a visit to NHS Tameside and Glossop by the Department of Health, Health Inequalities National Support Team reported that ‘Tameside Third Sector Coalition provides strong leadership to the third sector’.
