The core business of T3SC is to act as a support organisation for voluntary, community and faith groups in Tameside.
T3SC’s mission is to build a strong, clear and independent voice for the voluntary, community and faith sector in Tameside. This is embodied in our mission statement ‘Making a difference to Tameside’s communities’.
T3SC works in a number of different areas, including supporting voluntary, community and faith groups with running their groups and applying for funding and giving Tameside's communities a voice through the networks, amongst other things.
The difference we make
We can demonstrate our positive impact and how we make a difference in a number of ways.

In 2009, a visit to NHS Tameside and Glossop by the Department of Health, Health Inequalities National Support Team reported that ‘Tameside Third Sector Coalition provides strong leadership to the third sector’.
To see some examples of T3SC work and how it has affected groups and members of Tameside's communities we have produced a series of short case examples. Or see our latest T3SC Annual review 09-10 which illustrates our impact in more detail.
