Care Directions have been working with the Home Office to provide essential guidance for care givers as part of the Government’s Action Against Burglary initiative. A
Guidance document for carers has been produced. This can be printed off and made into an A4 double sided laminate card if you wish.

Who is it for?
Any community, voluntary or faith group who undertake activities to address crime and disorder issues in Tameside. Anyone who is active in responding to crime and disorder reduction issues in their community in Tameside.
What does it do?
The Crime and Disorder Reduction Network can offer information and advice on a whole range of crime and disorder issues. The network is active in speaking out on crime and disorder issues in Tameside - help us make it stronger!
How does it work?
The Crime and Disorder Network meets quarterly for two hours with a buffet lunch provided. The meetings are formal but friendly which offers a great opportunity to build links to other groups and active individuals. We can also provide free transport for people to attend.
The network links to local decision makers through its attendance at the Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership and through Tameside Voice , the ‘network of networks’, to the Tameside Strategic Partnership.

The Crime and Disorder Reduction Network was started in 2004 to feed into the crime and disorder reduction agenda in Tameside. It gives opportunities for people to meet and discuss issues which are important so that they can be presented to decision makers. It can provide advice and information on a wide range of related issues.
