- A unique opportunity to meet others and make new friends.
- The chance to learn about other’s work · Time to share your stories and experience · Be part of creating a voice on behalf of those over 50 · Specialist support when you need help.
CATS is a network of community, voluntary and faith groups who provide activities for people that are over 50 in Tameside. It gives opportunities for people to meet and discuss issues which are important to those who are over 50 so that they can be presented to decision makers. It can provide advice and information on a wide range of related issues. Link to Flickr feed of CATS events.
CATS is a well established Tameside network that meets quarterly for two hours with a buffet lunch provided.
The meetings are formal but friendly which offers a great opportunity to build links to other groups and networks. We can also provide free transport for people to attend.
