Policy and Participation Officer - Tameside Economic Development Network
The first Economic Development Network meeting was held on 30 June 2011 and was attended by voluntary, community and faith sector organisations and public sector colleagues from across Tameside. This network is building on work which commenced with the 3rd Sector Works Project, managed by T3SC last year, which evidenced the impact of the voluntary and community sector on worklessness.
The aim of this network is to create a working relationship between those who shape economic development policy and the many groups contributing to economic development in Tameside. This is to ensure that at a strategic level, economic development priorities and programmes are informed by these groups.
