Launch Event / Business Networking
If you are involved with a business in the Tameside area we invite you to join us at Dukinfield Golf Club (Lyne Edge, Yew Tree Lane, Dukinfield, SK16 5GF) on Wednesday 24 October from 12—2pm for the opportunity to network with other local businesses. You will also find out about our charity initiative Tameside 4 Good and how building strong links to the local community can really benefit your business.
This is a free event open to all Tameside businesses, whether large or small, with a hot seasonal lunch provided.

Events
To help raise the profile of Tameside 4 Good and local good causes, the team will be taking part in and hosting a wide range of events across the year. Would you like to show support for Tameside 4 Good at the following events?Tandem Skydive for Tameside, TBC
If you ever wanted to do a parachute jump here’s your chance. Tameside 4 Good is looking for adventurous volunteers to make a fundraising parachute jump and if you raise enough money you will jump for free!
So if you would like to make a thrilling skydive from 10,000 feet or an exhilarating solo jump from up to 3,000 give the Tameside 4 Good team a call on 0161 339 4985 – we will send you a full information pack and everything you need to take part in the experience of a lifetime.
Abseil for local good causes
We're calling all daredevils to rise to the challenge of taking on one of Tameside's tallest structures in a charity abseil. All money raised by the abseil will go direct to local good causes. Date and location to be confirmed.

Meet the Team
To ensure the success of Tameside 4 Good, a partnership has been formed by two charitable organisations, Community and Voluntary Action Tameside (CVAT) and The Charity Service. By combining their expertise this will be the go-to charity scheme of choice for local good causes that are seeking extra support. Look out for the team who will be on the go around Tameside.
Amy Watson – Development Officer
Will be organising sponsored events, fun days and more to raise awareness and funds for local good causes.
Ashlie Tottle – Corporate Fundraiser
Will be liaising with local businesses and business networks to help build strong relationships with the community through corporate sponsorship, payroll giving schemes, online fundraising, gifts in kind, corporate social responsibility planning.
Riona Doidge – Enterprise Development Officer
Will be working with Tameside businesses to support their staff to actively volunteer in their local community.
